Military Memorial Cemetery

In the western slope of the Mamayev Hill the Military Memorial Cemetery is situated. There buried the Soviet soldiers killed at the period of the Stalingrad Battle and found after the war.

The cemetery was opened on May, 8, 1995. There are common and individual graves in the cemetery. On the memorial walls more than 20 thousand names of the warriors are immortalized.
